The number of women who are working is on the rise in Mississippi, and we want to celebrate the impact that women make in the workplace. Join us for a program featuring female leaders who have left their mark on the business community in Jones County. The Forum will highlight issues facing modern working women, in addition to providing tips from your local peers on the challenges they have overcome along their journeys to success. Kit Redmond is the President and Executive Chair of RTR Media, the production company behind Home Town, and she will deliver a powerful keynote on the "Feminine Strengths of Leadership" over lunch.
Not just for women either! Men are encouraged to attend and network and learn. If you supervise women or have female colleagues or clients, you too will walk away with new insights on improving workplace relationships and additional best practices.
Networking! Arrive at 10:00 AM for coffee and conversations before the program begins. Additional breaks between sessions will allow time for you to mingle with your fellow Chamber members and the vendors so you can make connections that could help elevate your business.
Vendor Opportunities: Download the vendor application HERE
We are seeking to create a dynamic vendor area for our participants that will include a variety of organizations who offer services or products that are associated with professional women and their personal or professional growth and development. Vendor applications must be approved, and notifications will be sent within five days of submission.
There is a $50 vendor fee to participate in the WIB Forum and that includes 1-ticket to the Forum and luncheon, 1-6' unskirted table and 2-chairs. Please remit payment to Jones County Chamber of Commerce, PO Box 527, Laurel, MS 39441.
