LRMA 23rd Annual Heritage Arts Festival
The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art will hold its 23rd annual Heritage Arts Festival on the Museum's front lawn in recognition of National Arts Humanities Month. This year's theme will be "Sunshine in the Pines." At this free family-friendly art festival, patrons will celebrate their heritage through different hands-on art activities including pine tree collages, beads, metallic fish, and painting Mississippi ornaments. Guests will also enjoy live music by Thomas Jackson of Hattiesburg. Jackson's music range from pop to blues to folk.
The Heritage Arts Festival is generously sponsored by Coca-Cola of Laurel, Comcast Spotlight, Diket's Professional Drugs, Dixie Electric Power Association, Laurel Arts League and State Farm Lori Hearn Agency. The festival is also supported by the Mississippi Arts Commission.
