For decades, South Central Regional Medical Center’s Maternal Child and Pediatric Floor has been the heart of some of life’s most meaningful moments—welcoming new babies, supporting mothers, and caring for children during times of illness or injury. Now, this vital space is ready for renewal and expansion.

Through the Where Care Begins campaign, we aim to raise $1.7 million to transform 27,000 square feet into a modern, healing environment for every mother, baby, and child we serve. These improvements will include updated patient rooms, advanced technology, upgraded equipment, and family-centered spaces designed for comfort and care.

Last year alone, more than 900 families chose South Central to welcome their newborn, and since 2020, over 500 babies have graduated from our NICU. With over 2,400 pediatric admissions in the last three years, our commitment to children’s health is stronger than ever.
